What a night we had in Fayetteville!! I met up with everyone about 6PM. We laughed and talked Elton until it was time to go into the venue. Upon our arrival at the doors, we are told that unless we have from 1st to the 10th row we cannot give our gifts to Elton, at which time a cheer goes up from all of us! All of us are within the limits! Going into the venue, we notice that 2 chairs have been added to rows 1 thru 3 blocking the aisleways in front of the stage and immediately it is decided we have to do what we have to do....we are ALL going OVER!! The magical hour comes and we are all seated and Elton walks on the stage. I see 2 girls to my far right give him their flowers and I decide that this is the time that I will give my gifts, so I vault the 3 chairs blocking my way and he sees me and waits for me to come to him. He takes my token and then holds my hand. I tell him I love him and thank you! Well, the concert is nothing short of spectacular! He is in the best mood I have ever seen him in! After "Burn Down the Mission" we are up at the stage again getting autographs. The "ENTOURAGE" has some unusual things for him to sign! EJFANatic has her cool "Doc Marteans" to which she gets a smile and a comment. "Oh....the other one!" is said to her! eltonfanRI and her sis in law have their vanity plates that get a signature and a going wild arena as he holds them up for all to see. Val gets a CD signed and I have my "Flower Fantasies" signed that my friend Jodi sent to me:) and I promised him my tag to sign as "My tag is salt covered!". Scottie got another signature and we are all happy! We are so pumped up!!! The rest of the show goes all too fast with us again getting right in front of him for the last songs. He makes eye contact with each and everyone of us and there just couldn't have been a happier group! We are looking forward to the addition of a few friends for the next one and another great evening with "THE ONE"! Before closing, I want to say a special thanks to my brother Jeff (love ya bro!!!:) for taking time off from his job and going with me. He is a big fan of Elton now. My son Matt also attended his very first concert and was truly impressed by "THE ONE"! HE is looking forward to the next concert as well!!!
